This channel is dedicated to telling thoughtful and honest video essays on all aspects of filmmaking, visual storytelling, animation, music production, software development, computer systems and AI. I was a teen in the 1980s and have witnessed first hand our world go from the Apple Macintosh (1984) to the Apple Vision Pro (2023). I watched us move from 2" analog tape to digital audio workstations. From film cameras to today's digital cameras. I am fascinated by all of these digital creative tools. I own a second generation white iPod from 2002 and I still marvel at the idea of '1000 songs in your pocket'. I can't imagine having something so incredible when I was a kid. I was lucky enough to afford my favorite band's cassette tape and play them on a boom box in 1985. This digital world we live in is fascinating to contemplate and I am thrilled to share with every generation how lucky we are to live in such a time and all the amazing things we can do with these tools.
