🎶 A viewer recently sent me some music sheets to test on the reMarkable Paper Pro! I’m no musician, but it was interesting to compare them with printed sheets on paper. Here are a few of my observations:

- The reMarkable’s screen, even at max brightness, is noticeably darker than printed paper. While the low-reflection display generally keeps things easy on the eyes, the notes were a bit harder to read compared to paper. A brighter screen option would definitely be a welcome update! We know the hardware is capable of providing much higher brightness but we don't know if reMarkable will ever allow for it.

- Contrast Filter: This feature really improves visibility when it's on.

- Fit to Custom View: I found this option very useful. It allowed me to slightly zoom in, making the staves and symbols easier to see, and it retained the view as I flipped through pages, which was convenient.

- Adding my own symbols and notes was smooth and felt quite natural.

Overall, I had a great experience! I think this could be a handy tool for musicians, though I’m no expert, so I may be missing some key details. If PDFs are optimized to use the full screen, I think it would improve readability even further.

Releasing a video tomorrow on how to remove DRM protection from Kindle books. The steps from my previous video still work (at least for me, tested this week), however, this is an updated video where you don't need Kindle serial number. If you don't want to wait and want to support the channel; the video is already available on Patreon: www.patreon.com/HowToDoStuff

Thank you for all the support. Have a great day!

⚠️KINDLE SOFTWARE UPDATE POLL⚠️ There’s a lot of talk that recent Kindle software updates have caused a bad user experience (including battery drain, more crashes, and a smaller font for the clock/reading progress interface). Have you been affected?
