This is absolutely worth listening to if you desire something more in your life. Percy Miller (Master P) has so much great advice here about investing in yourself and knowing your own worth.

People talk about matching speakers to amps and “synergy”. I’m gonna start a rumor that speakers that use Purifi drivers sound best with amplifiers which use Purifi class D modules.

You heard it here first. Remember that when 10 years from now people on the internet are regurgitating this.

“Scheduled Worry”

Every now and again I get a bit personal here. Life ain’t all speakers, sunshine and roses. With that said, let me introduce you to this video and the “scheduled worry” method for your mental health. Please take a moment to read this…

I’m an anxious person by nature. Been that way all the way back to elementary school. Took me until a few years ago to realize what was going on and even more recently to fully understand it and tackle it head-on.

For the most part, I have learned how to handle little anxieties but every now and again something major comes along that sweeps me up and does a number on my brain. The constant rumination, feeling tired from all the dopamine hits from the anxiety, catastrophizing, and everything that goes along with a rough patch in life comes out and kicks my ass. It wears me down, inhibits my sleep and pretty much kills any motivation I have for positive things because my brain can’t stop thinking about the negative things.

I stumbled on this video a couple weeks ago, and it has helped me immensely. It’s taught me to 1) recognize the onslaught of worry and anxiety, 2) say “hello” to it and 3) then address it later *at a specified time*. I have a “worry journal” and at a specific time every day I write in it. What this has allowed me to do is to not worry all day. When I feel anxious about something I can tell my brain to stop and I will address it later. And I do that. The cycle of the constant anxiety over what I am dealing with ends there.

This method has given me more control in my life and allowed me to prioritize appropriately. And I actually sleep better now. It works much better than trying to ignore the issues. This addresses the problem(s) head on BUT at your own pace and under your terms. That’s the difference maker. At least for me.

Even if you would not consider yourself an anxious person I do highly recommend you watch this video. You might learn something from it and it might just improve your life as well.

✌️
