Why Comic Superman Is More Powerful Than God of War Kratos
1. Power Levels and Feats
Comic Superman’s power is unmatched on a cosmic scale. For instance, in 'All-Star Superman #1" by Grant Morrison, he lifts 200 quintillion tons, and in "Action Comics #1000", he breaks out of a black hole with pure strength feats that show his upper limits are beyond Kratos’s. Kratos, though immensely powerful against gods like Zeus in "God of War III", doesn’t reach this level of reality-breaking power.
2. Speed and Reflexes
Superman’s speed is on a different level entirely. In "The Flash #49", he races The Flash at speeds faster than light, and in "Superman: Red and Blue #5", he reacts in nanoseconds. Kratos, even with his agility and battle reflexes seen in "God of War (2018)", doesn’t operate on this speed, which gives Superman a significant edge in reaction time.
3. Invulnerability and Stamina
Superman’s durability is legendary, as seen in "Superman: Man of Steel #30", where he withstands a nuclear explosion. Meanwhile, Kratos demonstrates incredible endurance in battles like his brutal confrontation with Zeus in "God of War III", yet his durability is still more grounded in physical or divine threats rather than cosmic-scale endurance like Superman’s.
4. Versatility and Hax Abilities
Superman’s versatility extends beyond physical power. His heat vision, as shown in "Superman for All Seasons", allows him to slice through materials tougher than steel with precision. Kratos, though versatile with weapons like the Blades of Chaos and Leviathan Axe in "God of War (2018)", doesn’t have powers on par with Superman’s cosmic arsenal, especially in terms of range or precision.
Why God of War Kratos is Stronger than Live-Action Superman
1. Comparable Feats in Their Worlds
DCEU Superman has strong feats but within a more contained scale, like his battles in "Man of Steel (2013)"
against Zod. Kratos, on the other hand, takes down gods like Poseidon and Hades in "God of War III", fighting cosmic forces that govern entire realms. This scale of power is greater than what we’ve seen DCEU Superman handle.
2. God-Tier Stamina and Durability
Superman’s durability is notable, like when he faces Doomsday in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". But Kratos has died and returned, fighting his way out of Hades itself multiple times, as shown in *God of War II*, which shows resilience beyond anything DCEU Superman has encountered.
3. Combat Skill and Weaponry
Kratos brings an unmatched combat experience, wielding divine weapons that allow him to channel elemental powers, like the Leviathan Axe with frost abilities and the Blades of Chaos with fire. DCEU Superman’s fighting style, while strong in "Justice League (2017)", doesn’t match Kratos’s skill and tactical adaptability.
In my view, Comic Superman’s cosmic-level powers outmatch Kratos. But in a battle against live action DCEU Superman, Kratos wins with his divine feats and brutal skills.
Lastly, for anyone who says I’m “glazing” Superman, I’m sorry, but I’m not here to convince anyone. Stick with your own view if you want I respect that. These are fictional characters, not real life, and in the end, we’re all just atoms fading in the grand scale of the universe. People often love correcting others more than working on their own mistakes. Like Dexter says, “We are what we are , who we’re supposed to be. Nothing can change
that.”
