UPDATE:Just in case yall were wondering, we still plan to make Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Covers of retro tracks that are already in Mario Kart World.
Edit: Most things claimed about Mario Kart World's music in this post is false, while it is in fact going for a different style, it does use real instruments.

Mario Kart World seems to be going for a different style, ditching (most of) the realistic instruments and going for something more programmed, which is fine but it's not what we're going for.
i could be crazy but i swear i can hear in Sky-High Sundae, they just took Mario Kart 8's version but then replaced the strings with programmed strings, same with the Vancouver Velocity song (which is in the game for some reason), so i think the style change is very intentional.
Some instrument choices seem to be strange too (not in a bad way), such as Wario Shipyard removing the brass and replacing it with strings, Toad's Factory removing the strings and replacing it with a clarinet, etc., which are choices I don't think would be made in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
SNES Mario Circuit (where is mario circuit 4 nintendo 😭) is the only one where it sounds like full big-band Mario Kart 8 style-wise, so the chances of us doing a cover on that is shrinking but its still possible

haiyaaaa, scaled too small AGAIN 😭 what is with nintendo and scaling all the wii tracks way too small?
i thought we woulda been OVER this when the booster course pass finished cos it was a problem there too, especially noticeable with Koopa Cape and DK Summit (or as Brits would call it "DK's Snowboard Cross"), and now its a problem with Toad's Factory 💀
is it THAT hard to scale it a little bigger or am i the one being stupid? 😂

some of you guys are so silly, bugging me for skipping the first seven seconds in my cover when nintendo did it themselves 🙏
granted it could change so im keeping an open mind :)
the cover we heard so far is kinda nice, it sounds very much like panman's cover of the song which is pretty good, but that also means it sounded very midi/programmed.
im not too big a fan of the rock electric guitar in the background but i can get used to it, and the brass sounds like the fake one used in mario kart 8's wii rainbow road. they also got rid of the strings 😭 those are just my minor gripes tho, the song still sounds pretty good lol
on another note, do you guys think that the music will be live-recorded at all? obviously it sounds super midi in the trailers but mario kart 8 was the same way until the game released so anything is open to change
