One of the reasons for this channel is for me to hear myself on YouTube playing the pedal steel guitar as compared to other pedal steel players. I am trying to better my tone and by doing so, this has made me practice a lot more just to make a decent video of these songs. So it is beneficial in more than one way. I use reverb, delay, compression through a mackie mixer to an IPad then out to Mackie PA speakers and recorded on a smart phone. Nothing to high end but should be able to get a pleasing tone. This of course will be a work in progress.
