Generally speaking, when I'm designing things I like them to look like they "belong". Like they could have come from the factory that way. So I took some inspiration from the factory style of the dash and tried to make a switch panel that looks like it's fresh off the production line at TRD in 1974 (pretend they started 5 years earlier).

I'm tempted to write "I've been lacking motivation" but really, motivation follows discipline. And discipline follows priorities... And I've had other priorities 👶.

But I'm feeling good about these and can't wait to get it into the car as I piece it back together after completing the dialing in of the camshaft.

Finalising my latest video right now - I think it's a good one ✌

My latest video is now live!
It's finally time to put this carburetor together.

My Ke25 Corolla came with this 32/36 Weber when I bought it, and it's never really run "right". So after pulling it apart and hitting a couple of roadblocks along the way I'm finally able to put the last finishing touches on the assembly.

Using the ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning carburetor parts has been a godsend and I only wish I had've bought one sooner.

As the old adapter plate on the car was almost next to useless I needed a new one so I thought what better time to test out some 3D printed engine parts?

The 32/36 Weber adapter plate is almost completely 3D printed, save for the accelerator spring return mount - which I decided to machine out of steel.
Unfortunately I'm yet to comission my Bridgeport mill, so it was left completely up to my little bench top lathe to finish the job.

This has been a pretty fun and rewarding project to work through as I get the car ready to return to the road, before I really get stuck into the turbo kit.

Let me know what you think!

The little KE25 Corolla is finally getting a bit more love. The 32/36 Weber was on the car when I got it, and although it was ok it never ran quite "right"...
Turns out the fact that it's absolutely filthy is the very least of its problems 😂 but it's well on its way to being sorted now.

Gasket kit is ready to go and I've also 3D printed and machined a few new little bits a pieces to help along the way.

Check out the vid on my page to be ready for the next update that I'm working on atm 👀...

I've put more effort (by far) into this video than any other.
Just completed this job for a (cowboy) friend, and I gotta say I'm pretty happy with it.
Let me know what you think!
