The hypocritical jerks at Twitter blocked my account for 6 days... Dictator wannabe Donald Trump was making lies and threats again, yet went unpunished, as usual... I fired back by saying "put a cork in it, and choke on it, Trump..." They blocked me for "violent speech", yet have no problems with Trump's destructive talk? Fuck Trump, fuck Elon Musk, and fuck everyone who supports this cult of brain dead idiots!...
At this rate. I don't care if I lose viewers to those who support him, I don't want stubborn, hateful bigots and racists watching my content, so good riddance! If I could, I would move out of Iowa, but I can't afford leaving, so I'm trapped in a fucked up town that worships the phony lying Satanist... Thoughts on the Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed demo for Switch.
The Switch definitely has a rough history with inferior ports or remakes compared to both current and even past consoles. Luckily, the Switch port of this remaster runs smoother than the original Wii game, a lot less lag. I was playing in handheld mode, and the gyro controls for the paintbrush worked decent. There was only one time where the framerate froze for a few seconds, during a point where I approached a concept art locked behind bars.
The platforming and camera feels a lot better. The graphics mostly look the same as before, just hd, with some improved lighting. The side scrolling film reel levels have a more cartoony cel shaded asthetic. In the 1st one based on Mickey and the Beanstalk, the leafs and clouds now have outlines. Mickey seems to jump higher, making these levels more traversable. The inclusion to have Mickey run faster by pressing LS was a welcome addition.
The demo was surprisingly lengthy, lasting about 30 minutes, going through the first chunk of the game, starting from the Sleeping Beauty Castle, to a bit of the Small World level.
As for the downsides... The biggest flaw with the demo, was that many sound effects were missing, including when machines malfunctioning, or the Gremlins teleport, it feels silent and awkward. They didn't bother recording actual voice acting like Epic Mickey 2, which is underwhelming. And finally, when befriending enemies with paint, they were supposed to turn blue to let you no they're no longer evil, but in the remaster, either the blue wasn't very noticeable, or it didn't show up at all.
The demo was overall decent, glad to see it runs smoother than the original, with better controls and camera, but it is held back by missing audio. Hopefully the final release fixes this issue, and the bad visuals when painting enemies. It's too bad the full game will be $60, it feels more like it should be a $40 game, since it mostly feels like a touched up port, and not an actual remake. I also don't know if the demo will allow us to resume where we left off with the full release, or if we have to start all over.

Sorry to say that I took down all the episodes I made of Knick Clunk and Treela off Youtube. I was just looking back at it, and thinking both the art and story was cringey and embarrassing.
However, I'm making a new series of videos where I go in depth over all the art for the series, and sharing behind the scenes info about them. I'll discuss scrapped ideas, what I felt worked, what didn't work, along with how differently I would do things if the series continued.

I'm totally lost folks. I just lost my security job, my boss falsely accused me of something I didn't do, and left me with no choice, but to quit.
I've lost all motivation to find another job. I've physically and mentally struggled with every lackluster job there is. I'm terrible with customer service, and can never get the hang of it. I've tried grocery stores, customer phone service, and gas station clerk, yet they all mentally tormented me, with how rude and impatient staff and customers were. Welcome to Iowa... It sucks here! I can't help but be haunted by all the years I wasted striving to be an artist, yet failing...
All I know how to do is draw in my self taught style. I want to digitally draw for a living, but I can't find a single job that will give me a chance, or give the training I need. I will never be able to afford art school. I am desperate for help. Digital Drawing is all I can do, and I can't afford anything to get me the job I desire. My aspergers is not helping me either, no one knows how to deal with me, or guide me to the help I want. I'm even seeing a therapist, and they are no help...
I tried looking for other jobs that appeal to my interests, like being a film or video game critic, but can't find anything that will give me a chance...
I seriously wish I were dead right now...
