Sorry it’s been a while since I released a video I’ve been busy out in Norway with Apex Adventures, I have some footage for this trip but go back in 4 weeks and will combine both trips in one video! I’m out tomorrow filming another uk based trip so keep your eyes open for a new video this weekend 👍🏻☺️

Hi my name is Mike Phelps I am a professional wildlife photographer based in the UK. I’ve been passionate about wildlife for as long as I can remember, as a young child I was taken to Symonds Yat to see the peregrine falcons nest, one landed so close to me and that was it I was hooked! Unfortunately a number of years ago I was hit quite hard with some mental health problems developed from a traumatic event that took place some 27 years previous, being signed off work for a couple of months whilst I received counselling my wife explained that I should try and clear my head by getting out into nature, take a camera I had previous brought for her and use it as a form of therapy. I listened to her and did just that…that was the start of the most amazing journey into Wildlife Photography. I now travel around the world with Apex Adventures photographing incredible wildlife in some beautiful countries including the UK. Come along and enjoy my journey in the natural world 💚
