I felt a huge lump in my throat that morning.
I had known for a while what God was leading me to do.

All the learningā¦hearing patients tell me about their health issues that donāt get betterā¦and my own health journey.
Not to mention all the dinners I missed with my family, and the kidsā events I missed because I had to work.
I was nervousā¦but I had to trust His plan.
I did itā¦after years of working in healthcare, I put in my two weeks notice and went into business for myself full-time.

Many decisions in life are not always easy, but Iāve learned if you trust God, they are totally worth it.

Every time in my life that Iāve listened to God and obeyedā¦He blesses me more than I can imagine.

When God called me to leave my job with a steady paycheck and start a businessā¦It was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
I thought the purpose was ONLY to help others with their health, but I have seen so many other blessings come out of it.

Iāve not only learned business skills that will serve me well in the future, Iāve met some of the most wonderful people, and have grown so much as a personā¦
I realize now, how much my kids needed me home to raise them and be there for them like I couldnāt before.

āBreakfast is the most important meal of the day.ā
Did you know that Kelloggās came up with this phrase in 1972 to sell more breakfast cereal?
Itās true! And ever since then, we have been doing breakfast wrong.

We used to fill up on eggs, bacon, and sausage with a SIDE of carbs like toast or a biscuitā¦but now we make processed foods like cereal, protein bars and shakes, and sugary coffee drinks our normal breakfast.
.
.
When we start our day with processed food that is unrecognizable to our body, we are setting ourselves up for a roller coaster of hormonal fluctuations.
This also means we are replacing nutrient dense Whole Foods with highly processed foods, void of essential nutrients.
.
This is just ONE of the reasons many people are suffering from nutrient deficiencies.
The processed food we are consuming is void of many of the nutrients our body needs to function normally.
And when we go too long without certain nutrients, we can start to develop health issues like diabetes, vision problems, poor immune system and even cancer.

I know how desirable it is to base what you eat on how much weight you want to loseā¦but I think our focus needs to shift to prioritizing nutrient dense foods for optimal health.
Making nutrient density our focus the majority of the time will ensure better health as we age and less heath problems.

Our bodies are trying to get our attention by giving us signs and symptomsā¦but the norm has become to ignore them or cover them up with more and more medicine.
