Today is #HumanRightsDay2022. An important day as it is the 75th Anniversary of the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights - the world's most translated document (un.org/en/about-us/universal-declaration-of-human-…)
A big thank you to the community of watchers calling out unfairness when it happens.

Hey cool! I won an award as Open Source Intelligence Champion of the year. Part of that was because of these free tutorials I have been posting on YouTube here. Just to let you all know, there's going to be some great new content on its way soon that I am super excited to share with you on doing cool things with mapping, data and #OSINT analysis. www.osmosiscon.com/announcing-the-2021-open-source…

Hi. For those of you that have sent me messages about photos, don't forget to flip those selfies. Here is a geolocation I did recently where someone Tweeted 'at me', asking for help to find a location. The place was here: goo.gl/maps/hhd7uBBeFG5Xkqtu7?entry=yt.
I found it by flipping the selfie and following the shape of the coastline where it was thought to be near.

Hi all. This is my first post here in the community section but I wanted to keep you up to date with some of the more learning based material I share through my social networks.
This specific image is perhaps something you can try at home (if you're not already too busy). It was a fun geolocation and perhaps a great chance to play with some tricky shadows.
Here is a link to the original image: twitter.com/ManssorAlamrani/status/139683839331782…
I wrote up a bit of an explainer via a Twitter thread as to how I found the location, all using the concepts I have been showing in these OSINT tutorials. Here is the Twitter thread: twitter.com/BenDoBrown/status/1397157972762112001?…
Good luck. Let me know how you go.

I make videos on maps, data & OSINT :]
My aim is to provide helpful content on Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), satellite imagery, geolocation, maps, data, investigative journalism and curious bytes so that no matter who you are, or where you are in the world, you can learn how to identify, verify and analyse information online.
