My name is Paul Jackson, I am a Canadian Tres player, and this is my 'one stop shop' channel for the Tres Cubano; conversions, players and instruction all in one place.
I've been captivated by this instrument since my first trip to Cuba in the late 90's and I wanted to make a channel that's not just focused on Treseros, but that features them by name.
Currently I have three Tres Cubanos: two Baby Taylors (a Mahogany and a Sitka spruce) and a Taylor GS Mini (Sitka spruce).
I've purchased many Tres Cubanos in Cuba over the years and my converted Taylors are more playable and sound better than any of them.
I'm 44 years old, I work as a Coffee Roaster in Nova Scotia, Canada and live with my wife, two sons and a yellow lab named Tilly.
In early 2019 I launched TresKits.com where I make and sell Tres Cubano conversion kits for Baby Taylor guitars.
