Good morning! How are you all doing this morning? I just realised that it's payday very soon woop woop! I'm going to be filming a video to document how well I did sticking to my budget this month and showing you how I am going to be resetting my budget for March. Just out of interest how many of you use a monthly budget/tracker?

I can really relate to this line from the book. My weakness when applying for training contracts (trainee lawyer role) was my academic grades which were mediocre at best. I knew it wouldn't be the best use of my efforts to try and portray myself as an academically excellent candidate in applications and interviews. Instead, I highlighted the real strengths I have such as proven excellence at work evidenced by three promotions, and building businesses. I put all my effort into highlighting my strengths rather than trying to fix my weaknesses which made me stand out authentically.

I've started reading The 4 Hour Workweek and the first line hit me hard and so I wanted to share it with you all:
"The 4 hour Workweek was turned down by 26 out of 27 publishers" ... and then the author was told it wouldn't be a mainstream success.
Obviously they were wrong.
I was turned down from 34 out of 35 law firms that I applied to for training contracts.
I don't know who needs to hear this this morning but KEEP GOING - it just takes one YES!
