Should the US or CANADA own the Gray Zone?

In our most recent video we covered the longest standing border dispute between the US and Canada. The dispute is over a 277 square mile area off the coast of Maine that has lobster fishers from both countries enraged. This portion of the ocean is called the "Gray Zone" and both countries claim the territory as their own. The confusion has led to physical confrontations and growing outrage between the parties that fish the waters. Who do you think should own this rich portion of the sea?

Do you believe that people can be ALLERGIC TO WIFI?

Being allergic to technology is something that has been spreading across the world. Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS) is a disease that leaves people in pain when they come in contact with technology. Microwaves, cellphones, power lines... these are all things that can make people who have this disease feel sick. They may experience incredibly adverse symptoms including dizziness, digestive issues, heart palpitations and many other problems. While the number of people who are suffering from this disease grows there is a lot of controversy around the topic. Medical professionals are among those who have discredited this disorder. Do you know someone who has experienced this? Let us know about it in the comments.

These problems have inspired many people from around the world to leave cities and take refuge in remote areas where they can find shelter from the world's growing relevancy of technology. Green Bank, West Virginia has become a sanctuary for people with this disorder. Because of a radio quiet zone put in place by the US government, sufferers of EHS are able to take refuge in the area. However, so many people has relocated to this city that they are experiencing a severe housing crisis. Some have even resorted to camping out in parking lots. You can learn more about those who have taken refuge in Green Bank, West Virginia in an episode we released during our first season of "Off the Cuff." Find a link to the episode below.

Would you rather live in a CONTAINER HOME or an EARTHSHIP?

Container Homes are rising in popularity. Maybe it is out of convenience? Maybe people see container homes as an affordable building solution? On the other hand you have Earthships, which arguably are built to be more sustainable in the long-term. However, the building process of an Earthship could be more labor intensive. There are definitely pros and cons to each. What are your thoughts on this?

Which Off-Grid principle from Lammas Village would you want in YOUR dream home / homestead?

Lammas Village embodies what a real Off-Grid Dream Homestead is all about. It is a place that is essentially fully sustainable and promotes healthy living. We recently traveled to Wales to explore what life is like there. We were completely blown away by the story of how they developed their once empty acreage into the wonderful sustainable homestead it is today. Watch the episode to learn how they took down the government in order to build off grid 😳

This one is for all of you interested in Off-Grid Living and Homesteading ✌️

Maybe you are building your own? Or are simply interested in learning more about this fascinating way of life. The man pictured in this thumbnail has an incredible story of perseverance and grit. To build his homestead and start his village he had to battle to Welsh government. Turns out it is quite hard to start an off-grid life in the UK. Luckily, he and his wife were able to find a loophole in the legal system that allowed them to start building. It took many years and an assortment of uncomfortable court meetings, but their access was granted and they began to build. The video above follows their journey and explores their 'primitive' lives in the rolling hills of Wales. If you're curious about sustainable living this place has got it all. From hydroelectric waterways to locally sourced hobbit houses, solar panels and beyond the Lammas Eco-Village is an off-grid paradise.
