Another milestone was reached earlier this week with the subscriber count ticking over 2000!

Was a very pleasant surprise to see the notification pop up on my phone whilst at work as I knew we were closing in on it. But with work and personal life taking priority at this moment in time it means the world to me that so many people are interested in the content I produce and think it’s worth the time to show the support to smaller channels.

I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the love and support you give, along with the feedback and success stories from the result of using my videos to help keep your machines running!

Like previously stated, I’m in the process of sorting out things in my personal life which will hopefully improve my ability to produce more content to a higher quality. In this case I’m converting part of my house into my own home workshop, which I hope to get started in the next few months.

Hope you are all still keeping well and once again thank you so much for your ongoing and ever growing support!

With many video and series ideas I have currently in the pipeline I would like to get a less animation themed video out before the new year and I would like to include my amazing subscribers and anyone who may want to know something about either a machine they own or opinions on appliances which they may be looking to get in the near future.

So this is where you amazing people come in!

I would like to do a AMA/ personal views and opinion video with questions and comments which are submitted by yourselves.

So if you have any questions on error codes which you have recently had on your machine, maybe you want to know what I think is the best products to use on your dishwasher to get the best results from every wash. Or maybe you just want to talk about how you find that machines today are better/ worse than the versions which were available back in the day, please feel free to leave your comment on this message and I will get a video created before I'm in a state on new years eve that will make the antics in the first Hangover movie look like the adventures of a Bluey episode!

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all keeping well! I’m finding myself having less free time since the new arrival and trying to keep on top of video production. I hope to get new content out as soon as possible but for the time being I would like to do a Q&A video with any questions you may have about the appliance engineer trade or any questions you have for me I’m general I would love to hear from you.

Just write your questions in the comments and if I get enough I’ll make a video on it to prevent a lack in content.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all keeping well, especially to my UK subscribers whilst we are currently getting through another week long heatwave! Just thought I would touch base and update you to my whereabouts since my last post. I have recently become even more busy with the arrival of a little bundle of joy! Who is doing a great job of keeping me awake during the night with his incredible appetite! I’m now back to work after paternity and working extra hard to make sure our family will be supported and grow up in a loving and caring environment. They have already been introduced to my workshop and I’m sure it won’t be long before they know the trade inside & out!

In the meantime keep your eyes out for a new video I’m hoping to get out next week with the thought of a challenge which will aim to complete before Christmas.

Anyway, that’s all I really had to say for this moment in time. If you have any ideas on videos you would like being made please feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments.

Currently writing this with one hand as the other is trying to sooth a baby! Will try and get some rest but until next week, stay well!

Ok everyone I have an idea for a new video which I think will greatly benefit people who are looking into replacing one of there appliances for whatever reason and I would like to put a poll out to my subscribers who might have past stories or experiences from going to a showroom and the salesman doing something which made you doubt there knowledge. Please feel free to tick one of the options I believe that many of us have experienced whilst looking for new machines.

I would also like to offer a solution to anyone who is looking to create a design which they have been wanting to get created but didn't know who to turn to.

I honestly can't describe just how reliable and efficient this designer is on Fiverr. There name is Giegab and they are painfully unknown in the graphic design environment on Fiverr.

If you are seeing this and notice that they only have 1 review, this is because this is the designer I use for my channel character and have been working closely with to create more designs to add to my upcoming videos. They may only have my review to there name but I can honestly say this is the only person I will be using for the animations and creative additions to my channel.

So please, if you have been sitting on an idea you have been hesitant to pursue, get in contact with this under rated and extremely passionate person and let them know I sent you. I did ask first before posting this if they wouldn't mind me plugging there services and they were overjoyed with the idea! So yeah, get that idea out there already and make sure this is the person you put your trust in to get it done.

You won't be disappointed!

Good evening/morning to all my subscribers, I hope you are all keeping well!

I have recently started showing my support for other Youtube channels/ Youtubers which I believe my audience would find not only interesting but also I think would give other perspectives on things which people like myself can relate to.

This time I would like to suggest giving RenDuh a look into. She is an appliance engineer as well who applies her trade across the pond and her stories and content is something which I have come across recently and stuff I personally can relate to.

She is also currently creating other content which is more aimed at her progression and experience with her recent diagnosis with ADHD, which I for one fully support and commend her for documenting her personal journey.

So if you enjoy hearing personal stories from professionals from their time within there industry, or you would like to hear what appliance engineers come across on the daily! I would strongly recommend showing her channel some love.

Also if anyone has any other suggestions for channels who deserve more support when please feel free to leave your choices in the comments.

Currently working on a script for a very in-depth video which I really hope you will like, it's something which I haven't seen on Youtube and if it does well I hope to develop it into a regular series in the future.

All the best to you all and keep on fixing!

Another week of work is once again over and with this crazy weather we are having, all I can say is, thank God that my van has air con!

I have been brainstorming ideas for videos I hope to get into production in the near future. But the one which always keeps popping to the forefront of my mind is the currant environment the appliance repair community is currently in and consequently, where it is heading.

Throughout my career in the industry there is always one thing which has been the thing I have seen from every engineer I have met and communicated with during that time. They aren't always the youngest people in the trade.

The amount of times I have spoken to customers who say they used to have that one guy they would always use for fixing anything that went wrong. But eventually the time will come when they will want/ need to retire. Whether its just from old age, or the years of stress and strain from moving/ lifting/ being flexible to get to hard to reach items. Or from just the amount of tech which is going into machines these days its not worth it to keep on top of every new "improvement" which requires more advanced knowledge and technology to repair. What was the issue with producing a good, reliable product which was simple and did what it needed to do?

Just by looking on places like LinkedIn and information from the grapevine, we are running out of reputable, reliable engineers which can do the job efficiently. I can't tell you how many recruitment agencies have been flooding my inbox asking if I wanted to work in areas further away from my location and offering extortionate salaries for it.

For me personally, I know that these job advertisements will never pay the amount they are offering for the amount of calls they say you will get. Not to mention being able to know about the machines you are walking in to repair and having the tools and knowledge to be able to be confident in getting the job done first visit!

So before I continue this rant into the ether I would like to ask my subscribers of which I have a very good spread of age ranges.

What actually got you interested in getting into the trade of appliance repair? This also applies if you are currently looking into getting into this trade, what has made you look down this avenue and what do you hope to obtain or the goals you are setting yourself?

Look forward to hearing from you and new videos soon to come!

To my UK subscribers, please make sure you keep cool and hydrated during this weekend and keep on fixing!

Love,

The Appliance Engineer.

If you haven't already heard of this guy, or are into your F1, or you just want to have a good laugh in your spare time, give this guy a watch and subscribe!

Nothing to do with appliance repairs but its refreshing to watch some quality content from another UK Youtuber!

Plus he is a Sheffield boy which is home to 'The Leadmill' , Corporation and Tramlines festival. If you haven't heard or been to those either, I strongly suggest you check them out!

Criminally undersubscribed and deserves recognition.

Currently in the process of sorting out my Google ad sense (as apparently my videos are fit enough to make me some pocket money!) and due to being terrible at all that stuff its taking forever and a day! But in the meantime I have been working behind the scenes to get more characters designed for upcoming videos I'm working on and I have to say, this one was one of the most strange jobs I have ever been to in my career!

Now I know my first Stories From The Field hasn't been uploaded yet! Please rest assured that it is nearly ready to go but due to work schedules and trying to improve the content I upload, it has taken longer than originally expected.

I would furthermore like to thank you all for getting my channel views over 1 million and the subscriber count exceeding over 1700!
I know you guys deserve more frequent content for the attention this little channel has received so far and I'm trying my hardest to get as much out as possible.

If you have any ideas of videos you would like to see please feel free to leave a message so I can get the content out which the people want!

Hope you are keeping well and keep on fixing!
