Priya's Mask features voices of feminist activists and Bollywood movie stars #MrunalThakur, #VidyaBalan and #SairahKabir and Hollywood's #RosannaArquette.
Priya teams up with Pakistan's comic hero #BurkaAvenger. It's the first time two female comic book superheroes from rival countries team up to tackle the global pandemic.
Priya is a teenage crusader and social activist whose mission is to fight cultural discrimination against women and girls. The idea to create the comic book came after the horrific gang rape of a young woman on a bus in New Delhi in 2012.
Named a 'gender equality champion' by UN Women, created by Rattapallax founder Ram Devineni, produced by Tanvi Gandhi, Indrani Ray and #TheFemWord Monika Samtani, written by Shubhra Prakash, illustrations and animation by Syd Fini, Hamid Bahrami and Neda Kazemifar.
