Happy Wednesday guys!
It is still holiday in China, and my family and I decided to go to Gaoming (Foshan) today!
We rented a 3 floors villa with pool and jaccuzi, and we did a BBQ at lunch.
About 20mins drive from the villa, there is a cute village with western architecture, where you can have street food, and have fun at the water park.
Totally recommend this place 👍
I will talk about it in my next next vlog so stay tuned 😘
Take care 🥰

Happy Chinese National Day 🇨🇳
Today is a public holiday~
I went to Xinhui 新会 in Jiangmen 江门市 to visit this new café with an amazing sunset spot.
There weren’t much to do in the area, so it was pretty much just a chill day.
How was your day?
Oh, and welcome month of October 🤗

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival guys! 🎉
The Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节 is one of the two most important celebrations in Chinese Culture after Lunar New Year (also celebrated in Japan, Korea, Vietnam). (To give you an idea of the importance of this celebration, it is similar to Thanksgiving in the US.)
The legend says that Chang’e drank the immortality elixir, to avoid it from falling into the wrong hand, and became the moon goddess.
She would only appear once a year, when the moon is the brightest, roundest and the closest to the Earth.
Her husband, stayed on Earth, would worship her with fruits and cakes to show his love, and soon after, people would do the same and burn incense to pray her for luck and safety.
Nowadays, people would celebrate it by having a big family dinner and by eating moon cake 🥮, as it round shape symbolize reunion.
Then, they would go the park to play with lanterns 🏮to watch the moon 🌕
Hope you enjoyed this little story/explanation~ and ate (not too many) mooncakes 🤭🥮
