His eyes carried the weight of a thousand untold storiesāof fear, of pain, of a life that had been far from kind.
On our travels, we crossed paths with this fragile little soul, trembling at the slightest sound, shrinking from every shadow, and wary of all who came near. Each day, we stopped by, leaving scraps of food in the hopes of earning his trust. But no matter how gently we approached, he kept his distance, too scarred by the past to believe in kindness.
Weeks passed with little progress, until one quiet afternoon, something changed. Slowly, cautiously, he allowed the girls to reach out and stroke his matted fur. It wasnāt much, but it was a momentāa fragile step toward hope.
Some journeys are measured not in miles, but in the small moments that remind us how deeply broken spirits can heal.

Sometimes, the best travel stories come from the most unexpected moments! As we were soaking in the beauty of Hotnitsa Waterfall, our little adventure took a funny twist. Omarion, our brave explorer, decided to make friends with a cute kitten. But letās just say the kitten had other plans and left him with a memorable "love bite"! š
With bandaged fingers and a smile, he took it all in stride. Despite the little mishap, the waterfall was breathtaking, and the BBQ areas nearby made it feel like the perfect summer hangout spot. Definitely a place weād return to (minus the cat bites)!
