In 2013, Myron Mayne was introduced nationwide during the MuchMusic VJ Search as a Top 20 finalist. The competition is held every few years to help find a new host for the network station. During the search Myron discovered his passion for the television industry, both in front and behind the camera. Though his opportunity to become a host was cut short, Myron was labeled “memorable” while being on the show.
Shortly after being eliminated Myron was determined to sharpen his skills. He applied to Seneca College where he enhanced his ability to write, produce, and edit quality and engaging stories for television, radio and digital audiences. In August 2015, Myron graduated with a diploma in Broadcast Journalism.
Myron is currently keeping himself busy by starting a personal podcast while venturing into modelling and acting.
