Off to a trip Iāve been looking forward to for a while! In my last video, I revisit photos I took from Switzerland in 2018 and realized I made a lot of beginner photography mistakes in most of them, so I give out tips on what to avoid and improve on the framing. A collection of some of the highlights from my daily vlog challenge using the Ricoh GR IIIx in Hong Kong, and trying out different recipes in each episode. Hi everyone, since I got the Ricoh GR IIIx, I do a lot of daily street photography now. I want to share these walks too, but obviously canāt make a whole Youtube ātopicā about it every single time.
Iām going on a trip this week and thought to do a street photography POV walk to combine sharing a new place and you can see the results too. Not a lot of editing or big idea, but will try to add live commentary on why I took the shot. Would you watch this or do you actually enjoy photowalk POVs from other channels?
Depending on the success, I will create more of those in the future :)

Tried a more storytelling / film-like vlog, and while the views didnāt stack up, I am glad with the heartwarming comments I received from both photographers and non-photographers and how the words got through to them. :) also, positive feedback on the edit since this is the first time I did something like this.
I wanted to have a space for some thoughts and experiment more, so I will try to make more! In case you missed it, do check it out. Would appreciate it!

Woke up to 1000 subscribers! First of all, thank you to the viewers and supporters. It was not an easy path, and it actually took me around 2.5 years to reach this milestone. Definitely not the fastest, but it just shows the truth behind that cliche about how growing a channel is a marathon and not a sprint. Any ideas on what to do for 1000 subs? Hahaha comment fun ideas!
Also, Iāve done a lot of changes and tactics during this time and could make a video about why I think it took this amount of time to reach to 1000, and give tips on how it could be faster. This channel is a Photography vlog and not Youtube education, but I know that a good number of my subscribers are also channel makers!
