Just a heads up that tonight I am embarking on my second 7th Citadel threat campaign, The Drums of Desolation. We played the first campaign 8 or 9 months ago and it took us like 12 sessions totaling almost 80 hours, which is an intimidating thought. Tonight's session will probably be more rambling warm-up than anything else, and where I will choose what character to play, and what house rules to use... Feel free to stop by:

It seems we are coming to the end of our October Spooky Game Marathon. I've had a blast playing with you all and talking about the experience. We've played some really interesting games this month.

In October we have a tradition on the channel of doing tons of livestreams playing spooky/creepy/deluxe halloween themes games. We're warming up by playing a spooky Deadbolt Mystery Society game, but then we'll begin something more deluxe, On Circus Grounds, on friday, and go from there. Heads up: I've postponed the 6th game design diary livestream that was originally scheduled for this sunday. I am headed to florida early monday morning for a week to help my mother deal with hurricaine Helene damage, and I'd rather do the game design diary when I can focus on it.
Instead, we will have our normal sunday Dear Holmes play-by-mail session on sunday at 1pm cst (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH3Be...), and the game design diary episode will wait until I get back. -jesse

I'd like to hear your opinion on how much notice and regularity there is regarding my livestreams. In general I try to give more notice for new games that I think may be of special interest to folks. But in general I do not stream on a regular schedule and I realize the livestreams can be unpredictable, especially if you do not follow the boardgamegeek planning threat for the co-op for two. So my question is how important to you is advance notice and/or having a regular predictable schedule? Do keep in mind that trying to keep to a regular schedule is difficult and I'll always be able to do more livestreaming if I can do so whenever convenient without having to give much notice. -jesse

Greetings from Gencon! I've picked up a couple of mystery games (War Story, Masters of Crime series) and I will be back in town on sunday.
