You either die a hero or you live long enough to be on a podcast. This week I was a guest on AfterFerb to discuss the Phineas and Ferb episode āThe Bad Old Daysā, and I put forth a very comprehensive pitch on how this easily couldāve been a series-best episode if it met its potential (which it didn't). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0l3o... My pitch then becomes incomprehensible and slowly descends into the the plot of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. A fun time was had by all - including you?
Other recent appearances from me: I watched Transformers Age of Extinction with Jobby the Hong and Kellen Goff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bt4NV... as well as Transformers Revenge of the Fallen with Spilling the Milk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOLua...

I've managed to get my Phineas and Ferb Season 5 review visible after the chaos of the automated Content ID system taking it down on July 9th. It's up on Patreon one week early, and should hit YouTube on July 28th once it's free from copyright jail. www.patreon.com/posts/134653261
Please enjoy 104 minutes of thoughtful analysis and commentary, in what is rumored to be the greatest video ever posted on the internet. I've extensively overhauled the section discussing the seasons' animation, after I came to more realizations while watching the original seasons.
"But Keyan?", I hear you asking...
Then you don't say anything. You just stare at me wordlessly like a lobotomy patient. It seems that the thought died in your frontal lobe. How embarrassing.

Hey all! Just to address this since people have been asking: Last night I posted a review of the new Phineas and Ferb season. YouTube had explicitly said there were no copyright issues found and gave me the all-clear checkmark. Then about 45 minutes after being publicly posted, it was hit with 30+ automated copyright claims and blocked globally. (often little 4-second clips w/o audio resulting in a worldwide block and full demonetization) Unfortunately, Iāve left on a trip so I wonāt be able to do anything about it for a while. I'd been grinding really long days and even pushed the flight back just to get it done before I left. It's so annoying that it circles back around to being mildly comical. Hopefully I'll be able to get another version up in late July.
There's definitely been a change in Disney automated Content ID system in 2025 that other creators have noticed as well. Iāve had a lot of my videos get retroactively demonetized - including Pair of Kings, though hopefully I can appeal. (More specifically, ārevenue sharingā in which I get 0% and the claimant gets 100%. They call it āsharingā in the hopes you wonāt take action.) So this has been stressful, but it's still probably easier than working at Wal-Mart or something.

PAIR OF KINGS: AN EMPIRE OF MID is now available IN ITS ENTIRETY on Patreon. Runtime: 3 hours and 28 minutes. It covers all three seasons plus Ryan Ochoa's short film, Save the Island. www.patreon.com/posts/pair-of-kings-of-128146448?uā¦
Unfortunately, Iām not sure at this time when Iāll be able to post this on YouTube. It was SUPPOSED to go up this week, but YouTubeās auto-copyright content ID system is acting in ways Iāve never seen before.
The video got 66 individual copyright claims, one for every episode of the series, and for whatever reason just ISNāT giving me the option for a 7-day appeal. My only option is a 30-day dispute, otherwise it canāt be monetized. (I have to explain āNo, Iām not just uploading the episodes unedited. Thereās 3 hours of my audio on the timeline, which is actually not in the episodes on Disney+.ā)
Right now Iām not in a position where I can afford to let 2 full months of work generate no income. Iām not sure if Iāll be able to integrate a sponsor either, which would require me at least couple weeks to get something lined up and another 30 days beyond that with a reupload.
Best case scenario, youāll get the Pair of Kings video on YouTube like June 5th. Worst case scenario, sometime in July. Sorry, I really wish I couldāve uploaded it this week. For now, itās on Patreon for any price.
Having your income and livelihood determined by a dystopian content algorithm is super cool!! (In all seriousness, I'm still grateful to be doing YouTube full time and I really appreciate the support that allows me to do this).
Iām locked into an ad deadline so I will finally return to YouTube this week nonetheless.

Hey, Gravity Falls fans! Iāve managed to track down to the majority of the participants from The Cipher hunt, parsing through endless dead links and deleted accounts. However, there are FOUR people of interest that I canāt track down. If you happen to know them or have information about them by any chance, itād be greatly appreciated. You or them can eMail me at ContactKeyanCarlile@gmail.com.
1. [LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE GOT 'EM]
2. Rose / @Niltiac6 on Twitter. Their account says they are from Washington, but hasnāt been active since 2020. Their username is Caitlin backwards, so their name may be Caitlin? Hereās a photo of them and a man cosplaying from 2016. @Niltiac6 once tweeted that she know the mysterious family who found the Enchanted Forest clue, making them the key to tracking that family down. (The family once made a now-lost 4Chan account to talk about it, so they arenāt intentionally avoiding detection)

Thanks!

By SHEER. COINCIDENCE, I ran into Mateus Ward (Marcus from Lab Rats) at a store in Burbank the other day. The Davenport Family will never keep this man down!
