Two exciting new licenses announced at Anime NYC:
Beck – Returning from Kodansha in Fall 2026 with an all-new translation in a premium 2-in-1 paperback omnibus featuring new cover illustrations.
Billy Bat – Coming to print in English for the very first time from Kana, with Volume 1 releasing June 2, 2026. geni.us/billy-bat-1
Both of these have been long-time dream releases. Can't wait to pick them up!

Some of the hardcover editions I’ve hoped for most from Kodansha are finally coming!
Witch Hat Atelier: Grimoire Edition is actually happening, and it’s arriving much sooner than I expected—Spring 2026. One of my favorite series, and it’s getting an oversized, gold-foiled hardcovers with color pages and bonus content, collecting 3 volumes each.
We’re also finally getting Attack on Titan in a proper deluxe format. This new definitive edition collects three volumes per edition in a faux leather hardcover with gold foil, library-style binding, and color pages that weren’t in the Japanese version.
These are easily some of the most exciting hardcover announcements this year so far alongside Lone Wolf & Cub and Battle Royale! (Note: pictured is the French release of the Witch Hat Atelier: Grimoire Edition, which these will be similar to)

Exciting new Spring 2026 licenses from Viz!
Some huge announcements just dropped for next year:
- Centuria — Sold into slavery by his own mother, Julian’s fate twists when dark powers awaken, thrusting him into a brutal world where he must protect the innocent. This and The Bugle Call: Song of War are two of my favorite new series lately.
- Bug Ego by ONE (story, Mob Psycho 100, OPM) & Kiyoto Shitara (art). Hitsujiya’s world flips upside down when his friend introduces him to “hacks,” eerie instructions that can bend reality — but not without a sinister cost.
- Ichi the Witch by Osamu Nishi (story, Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun) & Shiro Usazaki (art, Act-age). In a world where only women wield magic, a reckless young hunter named Ichi shatters tradition by claiming forbidden powers and becoming the first male Witch.
- Statues: Junji Ito Story Collection - Collects ten new stories
- JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Purple Smoke Distortion — a novel by Kohei Kadono, with original concept & illustrations by Hirohiko Araki

I’ve been waiting for a new edition of Battle Royale forever! One of my most wanted, so I can’t wait to grab this brand-new deluxe release!
The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t a Guy at All, Vol. 1 (Webstore Exclusive Edition)
A numbered, limited-edition hardcover of Vol. 1, only available through the Yen Press webstore. Had to pick this one up. One of the best new series and it's up for purchase on their store now.

I know it’s not manga, but music means a lot to me. You guys probably already know by now that I love music, and today’s been a good day.
Sleep Token just announced their new album Even In Arcadia and dropped a new song, Emergence. On top of that, Ghost has a new album Skeletá on the way and just released a new song too. Both are amazing. Preordered both albums immediately—happy girl as of late!
Any Sleep Token or Ghost fans here? I’ve noticed some of you have pointed out my CDs and hoodies (Lorna Shore, Bring Me, and such), so I always try to showcase my favorite bands when I can.
Anyone else excited for these releases and what have you guys been listening to lately? Always looking for more music to check out.

It’s finally happening guys! 🎉 Kingdom, Vol. 1 by Yasuhisa Hara is officially coming in Fall 2025 from Viz. This has been one of my most wanted English releases for years, and I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen. But here we are! So happy to finally see this series get the treatment it deserves. Who else is excited?🔥

Hey guys! Wanted to update you on the Ubel Blatt Deluxe Edition as I heard back from Yen Press!
Yen Press are aware of the printing error on Pg 67. Reprints are in process and they're hoping to have the corrected materials by March. Great news, because these truly are some of the most beautiful hardcovers I've seen.
