Today, I heard a goat crying, and its sound echoed through the beautiful lagoon we were in. I looked around at the rocks above but couldn’t see anything at first. Then, I focused on a spot on the cliff’s face, and there it was—a little blonde mountain kid goat, crying out in distress. My heart broke for it. Where was its mom?
I called my girls and my dad over, and we all started scanning the mountain, hoping to find the mother. Then, we heard a soft “baaaahaa” sound coming from below. We followed the sound, and there she was—a gorgeous reddish-brown mama goat, calling out for her baby.
The sight of them reuniting was incredible. The way they navigated the rocky cliff without a care was both thrilling and beautiful. Moments like these remind me of the deep bonds of love in nature. 🐐❤️
