Hey its SaltEastSimon, Born in South FL, Raised In NC. I love Coastal fishing. I got into it a few years back after bass fishing for years. I had craving to hook into something big. I wanted to find fish in the surf after watching famous youtubers Surf Fish. It became a Obsession on top of bass fishing. On my first trip I was overwhelmed , So much area to cover with little to zero knowledge of surf fishing. My first cast into the ocean and I snapped off my rig and 6oz weight. Not to mention my rod came apart and the top half launched into the ocean in the dead of winter, I jumped in and put it back together, I spent Hrs freezing about to face frost bite for a skunk day. After that Horrible experience (my Bday btw) I was determined to never get skunked again. A few weeks pass and FINALLY and I decide to head back to the surf... and behold A WHITING, My first surf Fish! I was hooked! Then I Became a Fishaholic .
