The truth is, most people donā€™t actually understand what it means to be healthy.

If they did, theyā€™d see itā€™s not about extremes, fads, or following half-naked ā€œexpertsā€ pushing overpriced nonsense.

Real health?

Itā€™s about better choices, more often. And it starts with small, doable steps you can take TODAY (no dollars, no gimmicks), such as:

āœ… Swap pop for fizzy water
āœ… Walk 10 min after meals
āœ… Go to bed 30 min earlier
āœ… Eat more lean protein

Simple, right? Yet most people quit before the week is even out. Then they wonder why theyā€™re stuck.

Hereā€™s the problem:

People think health is about huge, dramatic changes, when in reality, itā€™s built on sensible, doable habitsā€”the kind you can easily maintain for life. These habits create results and make you not just healthy, but happy too.

The foundation matters.

You donā€™t build a house without laying the foundation first.

And if you havenā€™t built yours yet, thatā€™s the ONLY thing you should be focusing on. Master the basics first. Because, like I saidā€¦ house-foundation thing. Understand?

Meanwhile, influencers keep cashing inā€¦

They make you think health is some 6-week gruelling fitness challenge, a ā€œhighly optimizedā€ health plan, or the complete omission of an essential macronutrientā€¦ all tied to their branded magic fix.

*Buy their plan. Buy their pills. Buy their overpriced BS.*
And people fall for it over and over again.

But hereā€™s the truth:

Health isnā€™t a quick-fix program. Itā€™s a forever and ever plan. The sooner you accept that, the sooner youā€™ll actually get somewhere.

Iā€™m almost 53, and Iā€™m doing pretty good. I got stuff to work on, and Iā€™m working on it.

But I donā€™t follow or promote trendsā€”I NEVER have. Thatā€™s pissed people off over the years, but I sat back and watched them learn the hard way. Iā€™ve seen way too many people get sucked in.

Some came back and said, ā€œI wish I had listened to you.ā€ Others? They still tell me to piss off.

And thatā€™s fine. Because I know that being healthy isnā€™t about a magic pill or product. My health is in my hands.

Itā€™s not just about doing things; itā€™s about learning from them.

šŸšØ Action leads to understanding. šŸšØ
šŸšØ Understanding leads to change. šŸšØ

Most people never get past the first stepā€”they try, they quit, and they never take the time to actually connect the dots between what they do and how it impacts their body, their life, their future.

You have to LEARN what it means to be healthy.

And the only way to truly learn? Youā€™ve got to take action, reflect, and keep going.

When you actually start paying attentionā€”without the noise, without the gimmicks, without the hypeā€”everything changes.

So ask yourself: Do you TRULY understand what it means to be healthy?

Or are you still chasing the noise that tells you these simple, zero-cost stepsā€”ones you can start right now on your ownā€”donā€™t matter?

ā€œChange is the end result of all true learning.ā€ ā€“ Leo Buscaglia

Happy Love Day! šŸ’›

Just a little note to say thank youā€”for your love, support, and for being part of this amazing community. It goes beyond this channel and truly impacts my life in ways you might not even realize.

Hereā€™s a shot of me and my valentine soaking up the mountain biking magic in Canmore, Albertaā€”one of our happy places. But love isnā€™t just about relationships; itā€™s in the small things we do every day to bring joy to others (and ourselves!). So today, whether itā€™s for a partner, a friend, a stranger, or you, find a way to share a little kindness. Thatā€™s the kind of love that lasts far beyond Valentineā€™s Day. šŸ’›šŸšµā€ā™€ļø
