"...This storyline is that of the Ariesāļø north node and Libraāļø south node transit. Back in July of 2023, the nodes entered Aries and Libra whilst squaring Pluto at the final degrees of Capricornāļø. This square indicated a deep frustration with connecting to our core motivating desire -as that desire manifests as our worldly āpurposeā- with our relationships. The Aries north node also was in a tight orb of conjunction with the asteroid Chiron- symbolizing sensitivity, pain, and healing, for the first half of this 18 month period. The North node is, generally speaking, where we're going and the south, where we're cleaning out.
While the nodes will be switching signs on the 12th, and the specific focus on this story will begin to shift, the underlying lessons of boundaries will remain. The characters involved and who's in charge will change.
Over the next few years weāll be working out this story line of pursuing what our true job/purpose/desire is (Saturn in Pisces, north node in Pisces), but right now from a perspective of cleaning up our act in service of something so wholly un āknowableā, only something felt, imagined, perceived through the senses. As we are magnetically drawn into this almost-abyss (north node conj. Neptune in Piscesāļø), we will eventually need to show our work to the very same sense of self weāve developed over these last 18 months (Saturn ā in Ariesāļø).
So, who are you now and what do you stand for?
As the nodes switch signs in a few days into Pisces āļøand Virgo āļø, remember this week as the beginning of a new journey where we begin to focus intently on the spiritual, the unknowable, the poetic, imaginative, the magic, the mystic, the cinematic, the intuitive. As our direction is pulled in these areas, we are also cleaning house and updating our altars. The purpose of an altar is nothing more than to manifest a habit that connects us to our desire and potential until, after we perform this habit unconsciously, perform that -almost ritual -enough times, we ourselves become the living altar to, the living manifestation of that archetype, dream. Iāll be exploring and sharing different ways of cutting and exploring these dynamics over the next 18 months, so stay tuned. "

Happy New Year!
This year, in 2025, I am committing- somewhat ambitiously- to write and send a free email message every week of the year with astrological updates. Thatās about 52 emails. To keep consistent with a collective timekeeping, I am keeping time from Wednesday Jan 1. Also ambitiously, I am committing to uploading a YouTube video on an astrological topic every single day (yes, 365 videos, link below!). I have a lot of chatty gemini energy (venus and mars in a balsamic conjunction in gemini in my 3rd house šÆāāļø) in me that I find is helpful for creating light-hearted yet sincere content that legitimizes the free exploration of the mind through pattern recognition, such as astrology, as well as - and perhaps most importantly- how the life of the mind coheres with our human heart and cosmic spirit.

Mon 26 Aug - moon enters Gemini and forms its last quarter square phase to the sun.
Just as the moon moves from the Taurus into the sign of Gemini, it will make its last quarter square to the sun at 3/4 degrees Virgo.
A square is a one of the major aspects that I pay attention to because squares in particular are decision points. Squares are where we get to have a really very visceral experience of where we are consciously coping with universe. Now weāre consciously creating it every moment.
When we see squares between the sun and the moon, particularly we see a moment in the natural rhythm of the sun in the moonās cycle, which is to say our emotional bodies and Our creative bodies, and we have to make an internal decision.
Between moon in gemini and sun in Virgo, There is a recognition that you have, that each of us has, information to share with the world .
and perhaps it feels vulnerable to share those information but itās time to make a decision to share this message now. this might mean we still need to work on collecting the information refining the information and then figuring out whatās the best way to share it, but ultimately is information creative it allows us to express our unique that looks like for us.
This information is pushing each of us into communication with a new audience, a wider more universalized audience. Breaking into this new audience alone comes with its vulnerabilities as I mentioned, and yet our work is to let it happen to let go of what we need to in order to make space for this wider, more universalized audience that we are each meant to connect to.
During the three-quarter square this moon is in Gemini, so where the moon is is where we are emotionally and in Gemini itās all about data. We are called to organize that data and devote ourselves to it because the sun is in Virgo, where we devote ourselves.
At the time of the third-quarter Square mercury the ruler of both of these signs Mercury- is retrograde in the sign of Leo, the creative aspect of our joyful experience is seen in the signature and itās retrograde motion implies that we are actually reconsidering retracing our steps backwards,
Weāre working with something from the past in order to get this data that we that allows us to creatively express ourselves. This could be as simple as something joyful from the past is coming back into our lives were reconnecting with an art form or other art forms that remind us of very essential parts of ourselves, essential creative parts of ourselves.
by the end of this week, mercury will move in direct motion, which means the decision that we are making at the beginning of the week will be moving forward again, but also because we will have a new moon in Virgo happening very early next week which allows whatever this communication is to be set into a brand new intention.

Hoping everyone is coming down from this full moon gently!Ā That said, this week marks 30 days from eclipse season beginning, which is where begin to feel the first inklings of a pretty intense "changing-of-the-guard" that eclipse season always brings. What has come up for you this week? Has it felt more loaded than usual? Will be excited to share a video on the upcoming eclipse season soon as it coincides with pluto's return to capricorn.
Apart from leading into eclipse season by the time of next month's full moon, our final push this week specifically is the venus/mars square perfecting on Friday. This is a profound reflection of where each of us is making a new decision to balance ourselves out- balance our inner polarities of self out. The inner feminine, venus, and the inner masculine, mars. This can reflect an external relationship is coming to a head in our lives, but even that will just reflect where we're at in our own internal balance system.
As pluto inches closer and closer to capricorn in these last weeks of august, this decision to balance our own inner polarities might feel consequential. How do we make a decision that's best for us if we don't even exactly know what the future holds? The answer is always to trust the present moment and choose what brings you the most coherent peace and excitement- the easiest yes. This doesn't always mean it's the least effortful option, or the option that makes someone else happy. Often it's the opposite.
Unique, almost rebellious personal choices are highlighted at this time with several transits up right now, the sun still squaring saturn and the north node in aries, our individual, personal liberation is driving many of our decisions now.
