The Translational Research Institute (TRI) is a unique, Australian-first initiative of 'bench to bedside' medical research. TRI combines clinical and translational research to advance progress from laboratory discovery to application in the community.
The collective expertise of TRI's founding partners; The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Mater Research Institute and Queensland Health is brought to bear on common and serious disease including cancers, diabetes, inflammatory diseases, HIV, malaria, bone and joint diseases and obesity, with a view to enhanced prevention and treatment and improved public health worldwide.
