Found a spot in my local park via Google Maps that I might be able to test the Tarp tent setup. If it is ok I will make a video of the setup ideas I have and practice this skill for future trips.

Future plans as of today 11-09-2024
Thought I would share my current plans for my PhotoMoto adventures over the next couple of years so you get a handle on what I am doing.
My ultimate adventure is to ride the TA (TransAlp) from Home (London) to Athens in Greece by passing all but necessary toll roads.
Building up to that 2000 mile + trip, I plan shorter trips at home (all weathers) to get used to high mile riding ( I did Dave's Day 600+ so have some idea on the effort needed) and to test and perfect my very rusty erecting a Tarp Tent for over nights stays.
The tarp will be invaluable on the Athens road trip as I plan to tent out for 2 nights and hotel for the next night to refresh myself (shower, food, sleep) and repeat and should get to Athens on day 6 and a hotel. That's the plan :-)
Autumn and Winter see beautiful sun rises over frosty and misty mornings and during the next few months I really hope I am able to captures some stunning shots to share with you.
Pre Athens I will do the NC 500 and do it over 4 to 5 days inc the trip up to Inverness during early spring 2025 sharing my experiences as I go.
The biggest hurdle is what to do with my wonderful Lady of Castle Carrera.
She will never get on a bike, one the back of a bike ever, regardless who is in control. So I have a choice.
Mrs C drives the car and stays in hotels along the way while I do my "Rambo" stuff.
Mrs C (Athens) fly's to Athens, has a nice few days alone and I meet here there or........ I do all this on my own and risk the divorce :-)
Well that's the plan that's is currently swirling around in my head and If you have any advice please do comment below.
I wish you well and as always, safe journeys.

Just did a chain clean and lube on the TA since I'm close to hitting 600+ miles. Yes, 600 already.
Booked in for the first service at HGB Motorcycles on Thursday morning.
The latest video is online where I share my camera gear with you (Photography) and some nice spots in Letchmore Heath.
The Three Horse Shoes pub is a mighty nice place and had a superb Speak Sandwich & coffee after speaking with you guys.
Wishing you well and safe journeys.

Still, after a Calimoto number too, pop into Calimoto, do a road trip, and take pictures for you guys.
As for photos, tomorrow I will make a video featuring the cameras I now use and why I have sold ALL THE REST, there were many and now focus on these ones.

Just spent a couple of hours installing the INNOV K7 from the NC750X onto the TA. Along with a new mount for the Insta 360 and I am happy to say that all seems ok. Going to give it a runout tomorrow to a couple of local car boot sales to check all is working and set well before my first CaliMoto-inspired round trip. There is still time to offer a mileage for me to set in Calimoto and a full shout-out to you will be in the video.

Did a 125 mile calimoto test run yesterday which was great fun and I can report that I have no sore bum lol.
Still need one of you guys to give me a number for the first PhotoMoto via Calimoto so think of a number and drop it in the comments and maybe I will use yours for the first video.
Wishing you well

Ok, just before I pop of on a small break with Mrs C, I can let you know that a decision has been made. Gulp. So what did I do?
Stick with the NC, upgrade to the Transalp or NT?
You will have to wait for a few more days until I get back to see how HGB Motorcycles in Ruslip have helpped be have the right platform for the next couple of years PhotoMoto work.
See you in a few days.
I wish you well and have safe journeys.

Three videos uploaded now for the NC750X upgrade. 21.08.2024 I am off for a pre-booked break to Wells and when I get back I will be signing the papers on either a new bike or giving the go-ahead for HGB to make some key upgrades on the NC750X. What will it be :-) Wishing you well and thank you for the support.
