A year ago, when I joined the Atlantic Council as Director of the Pakistan Initiative, our goal was to move away from narrow conversations focused on terrorism and radicalism in Pakistan.
We concluded our year by hosting 🇵🇰’s foreign minister.
It was a broad conversation and the themes we touched on provides evidence that a diverse conversation on the many challenges and opportunities in Pakistan, beyond the traditional post-war on terror themes, is entirely possible.
