My grandpa is such an intelligent man and could’ve genuinely gotten his doctorate in theology. He can read multiple bibles front to back and writes pages upon pages about what verses he’s read and yet he never got the opportunity to graduate from college cause he had my dad, my uncle, my auntie, and my grandma to take care of in a post Vietnam, Ronald Reagan economy (mind you just think about how bad deregulations of industry’s based in America were for men like my grandpa). Anyways, all this to say, sometimes college/university doesn’t feel like a privilege like truly some days it can be terrible (for a screenplay assignment I wrote many scenes about how evil financial aid offices can be it was very funny). But honestly, when I think of my grandpa’s story and what he’s had to go through/experience I do feel as if it’s a privilege to be able to attend schooling and get a higher education. I’m in my senior year at Morehouse College and in May 2026 I’m out so I’m being reflective here and saying that I’m glad I’m getting the privilege to be able to obtain a higher education it is so valuable to me and is why I try to relay higher education in prisons around the Atlanta area. Shoutout to my grandpa tho fr imma call him right after I post this lmao.

We finna hit 60k subscribers soon and I’m sitting waiting for this bus kinda emotional about it listenin to Ostavi trag - September so lemme say this. When I was 17 in 2021 I sat in my freshman dorm bed at Voorhees University, came up with the Thinkpiece Tribe name + pfp and saw I had 5 subscribers. That’s something that’s been implanted in my mind ever since then and I’ll never forget it for the rest of my life. This channel literally came from nothing to where it is now and that’s all thanks to y’all. I could’ve never imagined that all these people and organizations contacting me would result from this and I’m glad y’all trust me to make quality work/art I wouldn’t expect anything less from the audience. Ion got nothing really profound to say, I just look at my YouTube numbers sometimes and can’t believe the numbers I see. Like how do u mentally process getting 20k or 50k views in 2 days?! It’s unreal!
