Anyone else roll out of bed and start the day with some writing? 🌅✍️
Here's a video I made about the process I'm using to finish my PhD dissertation - I hope it motivates you to finish your big writing project! I squeezed 30 minutes of writing in this morning and that feels good 💪
With less time available to film these days, I'm trying out batch filming and editing. I filmed a few things this weekend that I hope to edit this week. So, I might be able to bring you a video a week for the rest of the year! 🤞 Many of these videos will be answering viewer questions, so if you have a question about note-taking/zettelkasten/PhD in the Arts, then toss it below or DM me on Instagram and maybe I'll dedicate a video to it!

Today is a holiday in Canada and holiday Mondays always feel like this special, extra time I get to use for special, extra projects I don't usually have time for. In particular, learning new things that will help me be more efficient but that I don't feel like I have time to learn in my day-to-day life. If you feel the same way, and you're a student going back to school next week, check out my recent video on reference managers. Today might be the perfect time to finally learn your way around one to save you time and stress during the school year! 📝

I love the content he creates because of the authenticity in his performance, the high quality of his lighting/set/editing/etc., and the extremely valuable information he shares. It was such an honour to get some personalized productivity coaching from him!
