Today I received a notification that I've listened to audiobooks for 30,840 minutes this year. That equates to 514 hours, or a little over 21 days of total listening time!
As a lifelong reader, I've enjoyed reading print and digital books for many years, but I only started listening to audiobooks about three years ago. Now I can't stop listening to them! I love that I can learn about philosophy and science or explore fictional worlds while going on a run or doing laundry.
Here are my top five audiobooks from this year (I've included each author's YouTube channel where applicable):
1. Born to Wonder: Exploring Our Deepest Questions--Why Are We Here and Why Does It Matter? by Alister McGrath, DPhil, BD, DD (Oxford) @alistermcgrathchristianthe1158
2. The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene, DPhil (Oxford)
3. Return of the God Hypothesis by Stephen Meyer, PhD (Cambridge) @DrStephenMeyer
4. Chaos by James Gleick
5. The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson @BrandSanderson
What are some of your favorite books that you read or listened to this year?

Thank you all for growing the channel to 200 subscribers! What videos would be helpful for me to make next?
Right now I'm planning tutorials on python, specifically libraries like pandas, sklearn, and plotly; C++ for beginners; and calculus walkthroughs.

Over a year ago, I promised that I would create an ultimate guide to Running Start video. It's finally here! Feel free to check it out and comment any questions you have!
