Danny Tomorrow is a genre-defying, multi-lingual artist, DJ, and producer. Born in Winnipeg, to Chilean-Canadian parents, Danny merges his Afro-Chilean heritage with a distinctly Canadian perspective, crafting a sound that transcends conventional genre boundaries. His lineage is steeped in musical legacy, but the stories behind it are anything but ordinary. Danny began performing poetry and recording music at the age of five. Having a stutter as a child until his adult years, he discovered the transformative power of poetry when a teacher noticed that he didn’t stutter while reciting or singing. Integral to Danny’s musical journey are his mother, Juanita Fernandez a talented singer and guitarist, and Sergio Fernandez a saxophonist and songwriter who achieved fame with the international hit Norma Mia. This family legacy is further enhanced by the work of Luis Miranda, who won the prestigious Festival Viña del Mar Folk Competition in 1985 with his folk hit Reina Del Tamarugal.
