Our "Constitutional Republic" was replaced by a Title 28 U.S.C. § 3002 (15)(a) FEDERAL CORPORATION, on 02/21/1871 and the "Marbury vs. Madison" (1803)" gave the Supreme Court the power to "interpret" the "law."
So they've "interpreted" common law (law of the land) away and replaced it with contract law (law of the sea). This is why cops "enforce policies" instead of "upholding the law of the land."
Since then, attorneys, (despite how much you pay them), have a duty to the "court procedure and precedent" over their "client's rights." If the courts rule in your favor, it is for their benefit, not yours.
