Kindergarten Teachers, Homeschoolers, Caregivers or people looking for something to do with their children in the weekends - here are ideas for you - for children up to ?? and the children in all of us.
I love coming up with simple ideas that help care givers stimulate children - get the children to do the activities themselves.
The materials are usually inexpensive or recycled and found anywhere.
I especially love to introduce different kinds of books as reading opens the children's eye to all kinds of worlds, possibilities and opportunities. Books can be made out of lots of things - to help children tell a story of their own. They can start their own unique library of books from paper, bark, leaves, old jeans......
As so much of the child's development takes place when they are under 6, many of these activities are designed with kindergarten teachers in mind.
Then sometimes I throw in a video about my life - what inspires me, motivates me, moves me to create.
