Aren't there enough ambient releases yet? Definitely not.

I met Grzegorz (Skalpy z Drzew) in Warszaw in 2023 when I was touring with Dreare and Sweeps 04 - there were like three people at our show in this weird motorcycle club. But the brief jam afterwards was pretty nice and we agreed to collaborate on something in the future. It took more than two years and my study internship in Tallinn to finally make it happen, but it's very close now!

I spent my days walking through snowy forests, swamps, cold Baltic seashores and through abandoned military buildings listening to Scandinavian noise/freejazz and then in the evenings I would sit down to my synths and tapes to record the collected inspiration. My long improvised soundscapes were later accompanied by trumpet howls, guitar feedback, effected vocals and all sorts of weird sounds by Grzegorz. Now we have more than 100 minutes of an uncompromising psychedelic trip through dark ambient, improvised noise, free jazz, japanese horror samples, some kind of synth-only drone metal and many other obscure genres. I guess it's FFO Supersilent and Coil, as most of the stuff I'm recording lately.

Here is the first taste with a visual accompaniment by Grzegorz, the rest is coming very soon! watch video on watch page

Hey all. I released a brand new record today! No piano covers unfortunately, it goes as usual - almost an hour of harsh synth noises, maximalist ambient soundscapes, apocalyptic movie samples and today's world social/political/ecological unrest associations. This time, there are also some Jesu-inspired beats, wannabe slowcore parts, one hidden ISIS cover (guess the song) and even a surprise Nicolas Cage cameo. If you are into this stuff, head to bandcamp (or anywhere else) to listen/download/buy the tapes! Thank you deeply.

Anyways, there's one more thing - I got a chance to accompany the album with a recorded live performance from Saar Cult tattoo studio in Tallinn, so there are 80 minutes of additional noise to suffer through! Four tracks from the albums are included, plus several more jams (even more apocalyptic samples). I'm forever thankful to all the lovely people at Saar and especially ‪@vladkon666‬, who did a crazy amount of work to make this happen. Be sure to check out also his awesome dark ambient stuff on his channel and head to the full session below! watch video on watch page

Hey! I'm currently in Tallinn for several months and it was a pleasure to take part in this dark ambient impro livestream with local noise makers ‪@vladkon666‬ and ‪@fumantum‬ ! Check it out here:

(and also check their channels for a great load of perfectly crafted dark soundscapes and haunting drones!)
Anyways, many releases coming this year. Can't wait to share what I've been cooking in my loyal Audacity interface. :)

Hey! I kinda forgot I can post some updates also here so it was a little empty for some time. Not anymore! Today I released a brand new live album of Cult of Luna piano covers, which you can check out on my bandcamp:
furtherdown.bandcamp.com/album/one-glimpse-of-an-e…

It was recorded during this year's Brutal Assault, where I got the opportunity to play two hour-long sets of CoL songs. Some old hits from Somewhere Along the Highway are there, but also many other songs (from Salvation, A Dawn to Fear, etc), most of which I've never recorded before. It's a raw, live recording with mistakes and sound quality which is not really good, but I hope you'll get the same catharsis and fanboyish enjoyment from it as I do when I play these awesome tracks!

So this is my return to piano covers after I-don't-know-how-many years. In the meantime, I was busy with both playing in some bands, but also with releasing some original solo synth ambient stuff. Some of the albums are also here on my channel, you'll find the rest on my bandcamp too. Recently, I contributed with the amazing Czech post-metal/drone band Dreare on their massive record Foregone by adding some layers of ambient soundscapes, analogue synths, noises and tape recordings to their long instrumental compositions. You can find the full album here on youtube with some cool visuals:

Anyways, thank you so much for listening, both to covers and to everything else. I hope some of you will appreciate this little return to piano covers since it's creating them that got me the most subscribers of course, even though I moved to doing my own material throughout the years.

Thank you!
