Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center of Roanoke is a state and federally licensed rehabilitation facility that offers quality care and veterinary treatment to the animals of the greater Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas.
Our facility specializes in native Virginia wildlife, with a strong emphasis on birds, which constitute the majority of the nearly 2000 cases admitted each year. Intakes include raptors (owls, kestrels, hawks, etc), waterfowl (including herons, geese, ducks, and shorebirds), and migratory birds such as threatened Chimney Swifts to the diminutive Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
All donations are tax-deductible.
