A LITTLE NOTE: well, the curtain has finally closed on the shadow and bone netflix show. despite s2, i'm feeling nostalgic for this community and all that happened over the past 3 years. THANK YOU to this community for being with me and sharing in the highs and lows. β₯οΈ
i came back to vidding during the pandemic and sab quickly became my crutch during those hard times. literally THREW myself into relearning vidding. i worked hard to grow a community in 2020 - mostly for selfish reasons, as I was desperate to build a community (and uh, scream about it all), but also as an escape during a really hard time. i know for a lot of you, it was a similar experience.
i can't express how touched i am some of you have come forward to say certain videos from 2020/2021 brought you to the fandom or inspired you to join the community. it means so MUCH to meβ€οΈ it was always my dream during such a difficult time. if you've been here since the beginning, thank you for sticking around.
ive loved vidding the grishaverse - you know me and my aus and fanon - and ive loved connecting with our very talented community. the talent here astounds me. and while my obsession has faded, know that i'll always be part of this incredible - although, uh sometimes chaotic - fandom. i wouldn't trade the trailer clowning for anything.
anyways, i know this isnt really super engaging like my other polls or posts but i felt i needed to say SOMETHING.
