I can’t quite believe I’m saying this… but today I went to the Houses of Parliament to meet with Steve Reed, the UK Secretary of State for Housing 🏛️
We spoke about the Renters’ Rights Act (2025) — new legislation that finally gives renters in the UK (social and private) more legal protection than we’ve ever had before.
If I’m honest, I’ve never had a good landlord — and I don’t know many people who have. It’s easier to find someone who’s had a bad experience than a good one. I’m still in shock that I even have a platform to begin with… but today, I used that platform to speak up for the 11 million people in the UK who rent their homes and are at the mercy of landlords.
I clean for free for people in need, and most of them are renters — most have dealt with (or are still dealing with) dodgy landlords. This new legislation helps them.
For those people who might be reading this — I shared your stories. I carried them into that room today. I really hope the future is brighter for all of us 💚
This new Act is a massive step forward for us— it evens out the power between renters and landlords and finally makes it harder for the dodgy ones to keep getting away with it.

I’m so excited to share that I’m hiring!
These free cleans take a huge amount of work — from the week-long deep cleans themselves, to the admin, organising skips and transport, and then editing for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. I’ve been working 70+ hour weeks for over a year, and having Harry join me full-time has lifted a massive weight.
Now our biggest hurdle is editing, so we’re looking to bring on two experienced editors — one for long-form YouTube vlogs, and one for short-form content. This will free up time and allow me to take on even more free cleans. These are both paid, remote, freelance positions.
