Not long ago YouTube told me it's been 15 years since I uploaded my first video to this channel. Wow!

I feel incredibly blessed to have shared my passion, especially for the original Super Mario NES games, with you for all these years. Back in school, I was always that kid who couldn't stop talking about Nintendo, even when video games were still considered pretty dorky. (I'm old)

YouTube was a different world when I started. It was more about people sharing their passions directly, without fancy gear or production teams. There weren't any gaming capture cards, so we filmed our TVs and got creative. Retro gaming YouTube was still a small community.

To set myself apart on this channel, I captured high-quality video from my emulators and carefully scripted and produced each video I released. I’ve never had any formal training - it’s always just been me at my desk, excitedly sharing my favorite games. In those early days, I had a lot of fun sharing goofy Game Genie codes and doing silly voices. I’ve never chased algorithms; I simply created content I genuinely enjoyed, and thankfully, found an amazing audience along the way. :)

It took nearly a decade to get real traction, but the journey was always fun. I'm a firm believer that anyone can succeed on YouTube with practice, determination, authenticity, and respect for their audience's time. That’s why I always thank you at the end of each video, your time is the most valuable thing you can give.

YouTube truly changed my life, and that's entirely because of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for an incredible 15 years!

Guess what? We've just smashed through the 100K subscriber barrier! πŸŽ‰ It's been a wild 14-year ride, from those silly Game Genie videos (YEAAAA) to now, it's been nothing short of amazing. And it's all thanks to you folks!

Juggling everything solo is quite the adventure, full of non-stop learning. But seeing your likes, comments, and shares makes it all feel so rewarding. I'm pumped for the future and can't wait to share more with you!

Thanks guys,
