Singer, songwriter and producer
popularly known as Relevant Boss,
whose given name is Ferron Burke was
born in Kingston, Jamaica. His sound
mixes elements of Dancehall and
Reggae music. His mother, who he
recognizes as one of his most
inspirational and motivating persons in
his life, followed by his sister gave him
the push he needed to act on his vision.
Relevant’s passion for music emerged as
a young child who used to sing in his
church choir. His love for music grew to
where he also taught himself how to play
the piano and percussionary instruments
at the age of 9. He quickly added the
bass and the bass guitar to his skill set
over time. Relevant’s career as a
musician started in 2018 where he
released his first single Special. This was
quickly followed by some of his well
received songs such as Curtain,
Architect, Pull Up, Conscience and
Island Queen just to name a few.
Collaborations were also done with I Octane and Teejay Uptop Boss, some of
Jamaica’s top Dancehall artistes, so far.
Relevant Boss strives to extend himself
beyond creating music as he’s also a
humanitarian. He has given back to
individuals during the onset of the
Covid-19 pandemic.
