Hello everyone, it has been a while.
In September, I started an online class for making original glass eyes in Japan.
Today, I would like to share with you some of the works submitted by my students.
The original glass eye in this class is a technique that I have been researching for many years, teaching a unique way to express texture and transparency.
Each creator has his or her own passion.
Some people want to create works of art just for themselves, while others want to create works of art with their own hands for their cats in heaven.
On the other hand, there are those who have stopped creating since the loss of their beloved cat, but want to try again.
Although their circumstances are different, they are all connected by the common goal of creating eyes that seem to be alive.
We are all working hard with one heart to bring our works to life.

9月より、オリジナルグラスアイづくりのオンラインサロンをスタートし、
たくさんのサロンメンバーと共に制作に励んできました！
今日は、受講生の皆さんが投稿してくださった作品の一部をご紹介したいと思います！
このサロンでのオリジナルグラスアイは、私が長年研究し、独自の手法で質感と透明感を表現する技法をお伝えしています。
コツを掴むまで練習が必要なのですが、皆さんの情熱と上達スピードに圧倒されています、、、！
作り手それぞれに想いがあり、
大切な人に作品を作ってあげたいという方や
天国の猫ちゃんを自らの手で作りたいという方、
逆に、最愛の猫ちゃんを見送ってから制作をやめてしまった方が再チャレンジで参加してくださったりと
境遇は様々でも
生きているような目を作りたいという共通の目的で繋がった仲間たちです。
命が吹き込まれた作品になりますようにと心ひとつに制作に励んでいます！

昨年の投稿で、谷保ねこカフェのダイくんを書籍用に制作するとご紹介したのですが、
本の内容を詰めていく中で、
個性顔の猫ちゃんよりも
やはりしっかりとトラ柄の刺し方を伝えられる方がよいだろうということになり、
こちらのサバトラ猫ちゃんに変更になりました。
困り顔のダイくんもとっても作りたいので、落ち着いたら自分用に制作したいと思います！
この猫ちゃんはモデルはいません😸
本の中では、マズル付近に柄を入れる方法や、キジトラカラーも紹介しているので、基本的な要素を組み合わせれば、さまざまな猫さんを作ることが出来ると思います😊😸！

This is a piece I created in 2019. She was called "Fuwa." Fuwa was in a cat shelter and is now with a kind family.
This cat is also featured in my how-to book, to be published.

Today, I have an announcement for you.

Therefore, I will stop making custom works and work on the book.
For those of you who have been looking forward to my next creation, I'm sorry I haven't been able to show you my new work for a long time.
It has been decided that the book will be published in Japan, but whether or not a translated version will be produced has not been determined at this time.
However, I hope this book will reach many people.
I'd love it if you'd support me in working on my book!

I uploaded a video of Miyu-chan on my YouTube channel.
And the production process of Miyu-chan appeared in an American documentary program(Netflix).
The video which is posted on YouTube and Netflex are all about production process of Miyu-chan.
Both of them are released at the same time today.
