Adam just made another video where he claims the Nicolaitans were people who wanted to be worshiped and rule over others. Thatās flat-out false.
š The Bible and early church fathers are clear:
The Nicolaitans were antinomians (lawless ones).
They twisted grace into license, promoting idolatry, compromise, and sexual immorality (Rev. 2:14ā15).
Early church writers like Irenaeus, Hippolytus, and Clement of Alexandria all confirm this.
š In modern terms, the Nicolaitans are the āgreasy graceā / Free Grace crowdāteaching you can live in sin and still be fine with God.
The fact that Adam keeps inventing doctrines that no one in church history ever taught shows he has no clue what heās talking about.
How anyone follows this guy is beyond me. He proves with every video that he is a novice, not a teacher.

Adam Lacroix just made an hour-long video screeching like a banshee (not even exaggerating) talking about how it's okay to send your wife away if she disobeys you and he used the example of Esther in which the king sent Queen vashti away for not wanting to show off her body to all his friends. And that's the example Adam lacroix used to justify John Williams finding a new wife while he was still married.
Then goes on to claim that anybody who calls him out for his false teaching or calls out John Williams is wrong. He then goes on to say that so what if people fornicated or they commit adultery so what? If they get married to make it right, even if they're unrepentant you can't call them adulterers.
This guy is the absolute worst of the worst and the fact that anybody listens to him at all shows how truly truly gullible and how biblical illiterate a lot of people are

John Williams is claiming God told him to commit adultery while he was still married. Thatās biblically indefensible.
1. Still Married = Still Bound
Even if John and Betsy were living separately, legally and biblically, he was still married to her. Celebrating anniversaries, posting love notes, going on dates just over a year ago ā all that proves the marriage covenant was still acknowledged.
For him to then claim āGod told me to marry another womanā while Betsy is still alive and married to him directly contradicts Romans 7:2ā3 and 1 Corinthians 7:39, both of which clearly teach that the marriage bond lasts until death.
āGod Told Meā is a False Prophetic Justification
God will never tell someone to violate His Word. Scripture says:
Malachi 2:16 ā God hates divorce.
Hebrews 13:4 ā āMarriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.ā
For John to say āGod told me to marry another womanā while still married is to put Godās name on sin. That is dangerously close to blasphemy (using Godās name to endorse what He condemns).
3. Abandonment Doesnāt Equal License
Even if Betsy had abandoned him (which the screenshots show she was actually trying to work things out),
1 Corinthians 7:15 says:
āā¦if the unbelieving one leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such casesā¦ā
That verse only means heās not obligated to force reconciliation or chase her down ā it does not grant permission to take another wife while still bound by covenant.
4. Hypocrisy of Scrubbing the Past
John deleted all those anniversary posts and love notes from Facebook. That is evidence of covering up reality to make his adultery look legitimate.
Proverbs 28:13 says:
āHe who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.ā
Scrubbing the record doesnāt erase the truth. It shows guilt.
5. The Real Issue: Usurping Godās Word
The heart of the problem is this: John has replaced Godās written Word with his private āGod told meā revelation. Thatās the classic mark of false prophets and deceivers.
Jeremiah 23:31:
āBehold, I am against the prophets,ā declares the LORD, āwho use their tongues and declare, āThe Lord declares.āā
He is claiming divine authority for sin, which is more than personal failure ā itās spiritual deception.
John is not just in sin ā he is justifying adultery in the name of God while still legally and biblically married. His anniversary posts, dating history, and public love notes prove he wasnāt abandoned. His āGod told meā claim makes him a liar against Scripture
