Hi everyone, here is another post for a family in Gaza that could use some support 🍉
This is Ramzi, Laila, and their 4-year-old daughter Maria. Both parents graduated college and were just starting their careers a few years ago, but like so many others in Gaza they have lost their homes and jobs to the bombings and have been living in tents ever since it started. So far they have been displaced 4 times and are about to be displaced again by the occupation, and all they are hoping for is some money to buy food and clothes for their little girl. Anything you can give to help would be greatly appreciated 💛

Hi everyone, here is another update on Ahmed’s campaign 🍉
As I stated in my last post, Ahmed’s 18-year-old sister has just learned that she needs a major operation on her liver to correct a rare enzyme disorder that she was born with. The family has researched and decided that as soon as they are able, they will go to Turkey with her to seek the operation because that is where the best and most affordable surgeons are who can perform this much needed medical care.
Right now however, the family is being displaced once again as the occupation ramps up attacks on Gaza City. They don’t know what will happen next, but they do know any donation received now will help them continue to stay afloat as they save up for the surgery.

“Today, more than anything, we need shelter to protect these innocent souls from cold, hunger, and the constant threat of violence. Hi everyone! Here is an update on Ahmed’s family campaign 🍉
As you may know from previous posts, Ahmed is a language translation student living in Gaza with his family, including several younger siblings. They have suffered a lot of hardship but thanks to your donations, they have been able to get by and stay sheltered and fed 💜
But now sadly new problems have arisen. The family’s 18-year-old girl Malak was born with a rare liver disorder called Crigler-Najjar Syndrome and due to the lack of medicine in Gaza the condition has worsened to the point that doctors are recommending she seek a major surgical operation in another country. Like so many others in Gaza she is now awaiting the opportunity to travel abroad for treatment. Even if she is in a program to help facilitate this however, the cost will still be enormous, upwards to $50,000 for everything involved. So in addition to paying for food and supplies, Ahmed is now trying to save money to help his sister get the care she needs as soon as the borders open again.
In addition to that, medical tests have also revealed his youngest sister in elementary school has an ear infection, and needs additional medication to treat that.
(For privacy reasons Ahmed asked me not to share any photos of his sisters, but I have attached a photo of the doctor’s test results)
Times are extremely tough for everyone in Gaza right now, but your donations continue to make a difference. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated 💛
