I need some help please! I’ve been obsessing with the history and medicine of women’s bodies, obesity, exercise for the last few months - and have read a bunch of books and studies on it. I now have enough notes to make a SUPER long video in a style/topic that I’ve never ever done before. I’m trying to script now, should I:

I’ve been featured on #YouTubeEdition! In the amazing ‪@UnJadedJade‬’s video, she’s compiled the productivity channels she wanted to shout out and among incredibly flattering words about me, there’s also some of my friends channels too! If you’d like too discover/re-discover some great new content, her video (and ofc whole channel) is a great inspo. Here’s the vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW2uj... and Thanks Jade xx #ad

Heya everyone! Quick question: I miss my little podcast so much BUT between having to move/work/study/live and the energy and mental space I need to be in to be able to paint, painting part of it has been holding me back from doing it for so long. SO if you’ve ever watched/heard my podcast do you think it would be worth it more to:

Quickie: I've done it again, I'm scripting a video about what I've learnt from therapy/life/pain about friendships with lots of journalling and thought prompts and it's officially turning out to be a super long video, I'm thinking it might be close to the other therapy video I made last year (which ended up almost 40mins). SO the question is: do I cut things out, keep things a bit more succinct and make it a reasonable length video, or do I keep in the little details and all the points I want to make and keep it super-long?

PS. I may or may not be procrastinating from what I should actually be doing: studying for my exams
PPS. I've just finished going through all the video applications from below! I'm aiming to contact everyone over the next few weeks (sorry it's taking so long, I'm deep in exam season)!

EDIT: I'm closing the first trial of the application in 3 days (Monday 15th May) because there's been hundreds so far! If you see this too late, send me an email at liz@elizabethfilips.com with a pitch and we can talk if the role is still open!

I'M HIRING!!

As I'm finding it harder and harder to make time for life and studying and improving (or even producing at this point) youtube videos, I'm looking for someone who gets my content to join me make them happen!

I've put together an application form for a Head of Content Role: go.elizabethfilips.com/headofcontent so if sounds like something you'd be into, please feel free to have a go.

Looking forward to hopefully talking to some of you!
Lots of love xx

There’s been no Q&A for over a year, and this channel is looking a lot different so I’m thinking of doing a quick catch-up. Let me know if you have any questions at all either below or on insta! Thanks for being here, we just got to 700k! 🤍

Heya, time to understand how you work: I just wrote a piece on why we love or hate doing things based on our response to internal and external expectations. According to Gretchen Rubin's framework, I'm an (annoying) Questioner, and it explains so much about my attitude towards work. If you'd like to overthink and join the family, I try to send things I find interesting whenever I can to your inbox: go.elizabethfilips.com/newsletter
Do let me know if there's anything you think I should read/write/talk about! Either way, hope you're having a brilliant weekend 🤍

Help pls: I’ve just filmed a video on my in-depth psychotherapy-based yearly reset exercise and it’s over 40 mins 😬 I summarise all my learnings from years of doing and studying psychotherapy, but is it just too long?

PS. This is a very professional post and I didn’t completely forget that it was Black Friday and scramble to put this together halfway through the day 🙃

Heya, just going to give another little shoutout to 80,000 Hours for being a personal fave and for anyone who hasn’t had a chance yet to look into their free stuff!

80,000 Hours is a nonprofit that looks into the best ways for us to spend our life and time - maximising for positive impacts on our career. So they’re making the calculations for us when it comes to the best ways to angle our professional lives. The book is free to download (I downloaded and summarised it years and years ago, before I had this channel, on my website) but they also have a podcast, newsletter and articles that cover 10 years worth of research and advice.

If you want to check it out, here’s my free link: 80000hours.org/filips
Hope it helps you too 🖤
