The survey has been closed! Together we've managed to get over 2000 valid responses!
Answering some common questions:
1. Yes, the artwork that had "Generated by AI" on it was indeed, a real painting! It is "Zimní krajina" by Ľudovít Csordák.
2. For any concerns regarding the validity/sampling etc. of the study, don't worry! I'm well aware of any sampling errors and all will be addressed in the paper itself. The paper is mostly targeted at the opinions of art communities and will not be used to make conclusions about the opinions of a wider public. Same goes for country/age. The committee will know! No study is perfect but I'll make sure I cover any weaknesses in the survey by additional methods.
3. Regarding the results, when I am finally done (around March) I'll publish an abridged version here, or make it into a video! I've had a lot of time and a lot of reading getting into the behind-the-scenes of AI art etc. and found some interesting conclusions made by studies that I think could interest some of you!
