Collapsible stadium stand measurements and pattern

Materials
4 60x90cm corflute sheets
2 rolls of duct tape
2-4 plastic rulers

For the lower part, cut one sheet into 2 45x60cm pieces, and another into 4 22.5x60cm pieces. For the upper part, use the pattern shown in the images.

The cuts in the lower part for the upper part to sit in are 13cm in from the sides, and 10cm deep.

The slots for the rulers are 10cm deep.

When I built these I used bits of corflute glued to the inside of the upper part to hold the base plate up, but these have proven to be unreliable (they also complicate the building process as you have to leave space in the joints so it can all fold down). So I taped rulers to the bottom of the base plate and added slots for them to sit in.

Since I have these corflute pieces for extra stability, I only added two half rulers on each side, but if I was building from scratch I'd go for three in order to get better support in the corners, and perhaps a ruler taped across the middle of the plate to act as a brace.

Next time I make one I'll make a video showing how, but hopefully this will be helpful for now.
