Something very different to what I normally post on YouTube, but I would like to highlight the charity fundraising efforts of Stuart Boyd, who for the third year running, has completed a challenge to raise money for The Samaritans
In 2022, he visited every Manchester Metrolink stop in 24 hours, however, his challenge in 2023 was far more gruelling - walking all the way from London Paddington to Penzance, visiting every railway station on the way.
In the past few days, Stu completed his 2024 challenge, which was a 460 mile walk across Wales from Holyhead to Pembroke Dock, this time by the route of several scenic railway routes including the Conwy Valley, Ffestiniog Railway and the Heart of Wales Line. All of Stu's fundraising efforts have been supported by @JenOnTheMove
The many people who joined Stu for parts of this year's fundraising walk included railway YouTube legends @Sim0nTrains @GLovesTrains and @NickBadley {and of course Jen)
