I literally just got this lock in the mail today! And no key. But we never neeeeed a key right!

Hey everybody! Just an update on our situation! We did get hit pretty bad where we are at from Hurricane Helene! We havnt had any power or phone service since Friday! (Gotta be in town for phone service) Everybody is safe and in high spirits! I Havnt done much lock picking (for obvious reasons, lol 🤣)
Once everything gets back to normal, the lock shed will resume lock picking business as normal! Happy Picking everybody!

Medeco 51s update! So, it turns out it is not an LFIC core. Way down in that shackle hole was a tiny grub screw that holds that core in. After learning that, I quickly went to work on the gutting process! It does have 2 shear lines (master keyed?) 6 pins, side bar, all standard top pins, and the key pins have false gates ant chamber 2 is a spool keypin.

Just had to share this little triumph.. Medeco 51s picked to open! I've had this lock in my collection for many years with no keys. But today was the day! Was hoping I could remove the core after I got it open but it looks like this is an LFIC. Meaning need to pick to control to slide this core out. Still.. Medeco picked, baby!!!
